Outdoor World - Reception

On these days children may come into school dressed in their outdoor clothing. Ideally this would be jogging bottoms, long sleeved tops and a jumper, with raincoats and wellington boots. As the children come into school during the day they need to have a carrier bag with shoes to change into, and if the weather is wet it is sensible to bring a change of trousers. Gloves should be brought in for children to have available to them. 

Muddy Fun 

Please remember the children will be exploring, building, making, carrying and will get muddy. Older, used clothes are the most sensible. 

We will be teaching children the below phrase to help them understand, but we ask you to ensure children have the correct clothing for these sessions. 

S - Sensible in all weather 

A - Are my arms and legs covered? 

F - Feet need to be in boots 

E - Everyone bring spare shoes to change into
